3 Weekends, 6 Days, 9 Art Galleries, and 18 Local Artists Come Together to Celebrate the Intrinsic Connection Between Music and Visual Art for a Cause

Music Matters May celebrates the Denver artistic community by connecting local musicians and visual artists to produce authentic, live and unplugged performances. Eighteen different art galleries serve as the venues over three weekends and six days.

 All proceeds benefit Flobots.org, a nonprofit organization offering diverse programs that reflect the belief that music and the arts are tools for building awareness, inspiring action, supporting personal transformation and building leaders. Their mission is to create positive social change by harnessing the power of music and those who love it.

Denver’s Art District on Santa Fe is a unique, nationally known art and cultural district with over 60 galleries, restaurants and shops located a few short blocks from downtown Denver. The Art District opens its doors freely to lively crowds for popular events such as the First Friday Art Walk, held every first Friday of the month, and Preview Night, a more intimate gathering held every third Friday of the month.
